This wonderful little café is open from 7 AM six days a week and boasts a delicious fresh menu for both breakfast and lunch, plus an incredible display of pastries, quiches and cakes to tickle your sweet tooth. It’s the perfect way to start off your Yeppoon holiday!

Morning – Yeppoon Foreshore

After breakfast, you’ll be ready to go and explore Yeppoon! And there’s no better place to explore than the Foreshore, just down the hill from Villa Mar Colina. Not only can you enjoy the beautiful calm beaches that overlook the Keppel Islands, there’s plenty of fun to be had shopping in local boutiques, enjoying the hunt for street art by amazing local artists and playing at the Keppel Kraken and the Yeppoon Lagoon!

The Yeppoon Lagoon is free to enter, with a shallow children’s play area, a swim-up infinity edge with a view out to the Keppel Islands and its own café, The Rocks Café. This is the perfect place for a swim, a bit of morning tea and a nice walk along the beach.

Lunch – Keppel Bay Sailing Club

All that swimming works up an appetite, so why not treat yourself to lunch overlooking Keppel Bay? At the Keppel Bay Sailing Club’s Clubhouse Restaurant and Bar, you can enjoy bistro-style dining with full table service, a delicious menu suited to the whole family and daily specials. Downstairs you’ll also find the Beach Club Café, which offers a more casual dining experience with all your favourites.

The Clubhouse Restaurant and Bar starts serving lunch from 11:30 AM until 2:30 PM and has both indoor and outdoor dining options with stunning views of the Keppel Islands. The Beach Club Café is open from 5:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with their lunch menu starting from 11:00 AM.

Afternoon – Cooberrie Park

After lunch, it’s time to meet the locals! Just a fifteen-minute drive from Villa Mar Colina lies Cooberrie Park Wildlife Sanctuary, offering an up close and personal animal experience unlike any other. Cooberrie Park offers its visitors the chance to hold a koala, hand-feed kangaroos and explore a beautiful stretch of bushland filled with native wildlife.

Every day at 1:00 PM, Cooberrie Park puts on a wildlife show where you can hold snakes, parrots, lizards, dragon and even pet a koala for free! This incredible experience is perfect for any animal lover, young or old.

Evening – Sunset Cruise

As the sun sets behind the coastal ranges, it’s time to head back out to the bay.
